Coolim Books is a small publishing company based in Skibbereen, Co. Cork, Ireland. It is dedicated to telling the stories of West Cork and to reviving old books of interest.

We love to supply local bookstores and if you wish to buy one of our books then we encourage you to always shop local. However, to reach all our customers we have set up an online store on the Sumup platform. We also sell local history journals and a selection of old and new books of West Cork and wider interest. Suspension of USA orders: From the 29 August 2025 the USA has ending the tariff exempt status for parcels. This change is causing much confusion. My sources in the USA state that books are on a tariff free list and will continue to be exempt, however authorities in Ireland, that I have spoken to, do not appear to be aware of this and insist that tariffs will be collected on all sales of goods. Until there is some clarity we are suspending sales to the USA. Sorry for the inconvenience caused, as soon as the rules are clear we will resume that service.
